The greatest festival moments.
Before the Festival
Some decentralised shows allow to discover other Alto Minho regions. There will be popular art exhibitions of a few countries, a visit to Old People's Homes and Day Care Centres for elderly people for whom is not possible to go to the shows during the festival's week.

In the evening – welcome party which allows both groups and the festival’s organization to get acquainted.
5th August 2008 – Tuesday
Monção
Rehearsal for the Opening Gala or “Deu – La – Deu” Gala
Group’s reception by the Monção Town Hall with exchange of gifts, wine tasting and typical local delicacies.
10 pm: “Deu – La – Deu” Gala in Monção in “Deu-La-Deu” Square.
6th August 2008 – Wednesday
Caminha – Arcos de Valdevez
10 pm: Show in Caminha.

7th August 2008 – Thursday
Ponte de Lima – Vila Nova Cerveira
10 a.m. : Great parade of the participant groups
11 a.m. : Contact with the population. Dances display and cultural exchange.
10 pm: Show in Ponte de Lima.
8th August 2008 – Friday
Ponte da Barca – Melgaço – Cea (Galicia - Spain)
Possibility of guided visits to interesting sites and fluvial beach (optional).
10 pm: Show in Cea (Galicia – Spain).

10 pm: Alliance Gala in Ponte do Mouro – Barbeita – the homeplace of the Barbeita Folk Group, organiser of this festival.
